Gender and food loss in sustainable food value chains

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has recently published a guiding note on an interesting topic: ‘Gender and food loss in sustainable value chains’. The purpose of this publication is to help policy-makers, project designers and field practitioners to understand and analyse the nexus between gender equality and food loss, while offering practical guidance on, and tools for, integrating gender concerns into the planning and implementation of food loss studies and reduction strategies and interventions.  On behalf of  Fair & Sustainable Anna Lentink contributed to this study together with Cathelijne van Melle of Enclude!
